In 2008, as gas prices were beginning to soar, and Al Gore had gained momentum on his charter towards global awareness of the impending problem of global warming, I walked into a small fabrication office inside a small corporate mall in Irvine, California. Inside there was a small team of desingers, modelers, fabricators, and a few office administrators rumbling about just like a typical corporate office. Among them was Henrik Fisker, a world- renowned car designer, his business partner Barney Koehler, and Alexander Klatt, another design titan from BMW. These delusional people were building an electric car.
Little did I know that we would embark on disrupting the automotive markets with the introduction of a Plug-in Electric Vehicle. I was employee number 16, responsible for the production of many of the Interior components inside the Karma and Sunset vehicles as well as a participant of the marketing campaigns of the company. Exciting times.
