An interesting opportunity emerged from an innovative disruptor in Arizona. IO Data Centers, an international data center corporation wanted to present itself as a silicon valley technology company. The core of IO’s business is raised floor, co-location data center services. It’s out lier businesses concentrate on product development and cloud services based on IO’s proprietary data center modules, or DCaaS (Data Center as a Service) systems.
Design work was expansive as it supported marketing and the broader corporate identity as well as product development in hardware and software. The design language and identity for IO was re-built organically addressing the needs of the various business units and departments. The position was generalist as design was used as a communication tool, product optimizer, and general b2b premium positioning tool.
